200 million smartphones
2019 has been a difficult year for Huawei due to US sanctions. Even so, the future of the company is uncertain. But the company has reported good news in its financial reports. Huawei says it has sold 200 million smartphones since the beginning of 2019. This impressive milestone was set 64 days before 2018, despite the US and Chinese trade wars.
The Chinese company had already reported that the P30 lineup offered in March and the Mate 20 series introduced last year had outperformed its sales.
One of the reasons that 200 million smartphones are sold is that Huawei is the largest smartphone sales company in the Chinese market. This time, Chinese consumers have bought more and more of Huawei's smartphones, protesting against the US. However, the CEO of the company says that they are ready to reduce the company's annual revenue by 10%. The Huawei Mate 30 lineup was launched in September 2019 but it has not yet been launched in the global market. It will be offered for sale in other countries soon.
